The silver avant on the c6 rims is bams monster, the one on oem alloys is spitteli's.
Is bams the one with the manual conversion?

I was thinking that was a proper tool when I was looking at the advertisement, just got back from MRC today, and spotted a blue loon with the c6 wheels really compliments the car IMO

The mug blue 'loon with C6 peelers is Doug's. Did you see my 'loon? Black with silver interior and HRE wheels (which are now too dark now IMO).
I didn't like the C6 wheels on C5s until I saw this manual car. They'd look better in anthracite on an avus and it's a shame they're 20s, still, it rides better than mine on 19s! It's created a serious dilemma... 1st world problems, huh?

I must admit I didn't notice your loon, it was early and I was in need of caffeine+ I was too busy knocking one out over the silver r8

Bam, your new 6 is a sweet ride dude and I agree the wheels would look trick in Anthracite or maybe satin black?

Interesting you say it rides better on 20's yet you say the size is a shame. You wouldn't be able to run the c6 stoppers with stock 19's though hey. (I stand corrected by Bam that you can  )

I'm very envious and totally admire your commitment to the c5 brigade. I really do hope you can keep them both in your stable, and the beard :rocker:

I also agree with all the comments on Chunk's car and hope he honours those payments he promised so that I can fund his wheels on mine!

The MRC single turbo R8V8 is sexy, it must've been a handful in the wet on those track tyres. Shame it didn't get on the track at ADI. Some weird noise restrictions this year.

C6 brakes fit under OEM C5 wheels and probably most other 19s just fine.

It's a scary thing on boost and I'm still coming to terms with the manual installed. It'd be a no no if I was still in central London, but I ain't. The real test will be when I pick up my 'loon, with 600HP and properly working tiptronic, it's the best of the rest. It'd be the car you'd want 90% of the time, better looking too. I'm very confused and torn.

If you got kids the estate is the one, plus the money that's been put into that thing is not to be sniffed at, nice to have the dilemma

Aaaah, poor Bam Bam... Such a hard time you must be having owning 2 of the fastest and finest c5s. Lol

Sorry mate, just kidding. You've nothing to be torn about, just enjoy them both while we're all green with envy.
