Chelsea Car Club run, September, EVO triangle, Isle of Man.

I'm gutted that I don't think I can't go to this...

My mate Angus (Angus2005 on here) has started a new car club. Based London, but anyone can participate.

Called the Chelsea Car Club http://www.thechelseacarclub.co.uk/ he's doing organised tours for petrolheads.

In September it starts at the London Motor Museum, goes to Wales for the EVO triangle and other roads, and on to Liverpool, sail to Isle of Man, and back.

It sounds an absolute blast - sadly for me in the motor trade September is one of the busiest months of the year so I doubt I can go.

I don't have any affiliation to the club - it's just that Angus is a mate, but if anyone on here fancies going I'm sure there will be space.

He says:

"Get ready on the 20th - 22nd September 2013 the Ultimate Roadtrip is taking place, This is set to be a truly epic trip, taking in not only some of the best roads within the UK but also the fastest.

At 10am on Friday the 20th September 2013 the flag will drop and 16 cars will depart from The London Motor Museum, for the motorsport Mecca of the Isle of Man via some of the ultimate Welsh driving roads. Teams will clock up a minimum of 800 miles over three days and experience some of the fastest roads the UK has to offer. A black tie charity Auction dinner will also be held on the evening of Saturday 21st September in aid of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, Participants will then return to London the following day.

Please note there is no national speed limit on the Isle of Man on certain roads. However speed limits in towns, villages and other areas must be adhered to.

Just a quick update if you book before the 1st August you will receive £50 off the outstanding balance! Making it a very reasonably priced trip! Remember the Isle of Man benefits from having no speed limits on country roads! It also has a great motorsport heritage amongst other things!
