Ask davidkoulakis (or however you spell it). He takes his RS6 and i think he does low 12's, maybe high 11's. Mine does 0-60 in 3.9 (VAGCOM) so from there you can expect low 12's or high 11's.
The RS6 isnt best suited to drag racing due to the box so you may struggle to find many owners running them on the strip (fear of expensive gearbox rebuild).

Just for your info. My pug 205 (240bhp GTI-6 engine) ran low 14's and a couple of high 13's on standard tyres.

This from grizz

R/T 60 Foot 330 Foot 1/8 Mile 1/8 MPH 1000 FT 1/4 Mile 1/4 MPH
0.600 0.000 0.000 3.400 103.000 0.000 10.360 207.000

That is way off , unless the mph should read kph ?

I'd like to see it do 3.4 at half track and run 207 mph over the finish

Thats an odd readout. I think that maybe there is a mistake there. Unless Grizz is flying the Millenium Falcon!

Think you'll find the 4's are substantially quicker than the barges out there...

How so? Only if you compared them in different states of tune:

A standard RS6 will kill a standard B5 RS4. In the same way a mapped B5 RS4 may potentially beat a standard RS6. But that would again be reversed if the RS6 was mapped.

Before you say 'my mapped RS4 beat my mates mapped RS6!', i believe that the RS4 has a much wider range of tuning packages allowing a higher state of tune. Thus making the comparison a bit biased. The RS6 is limited as far as tuning goes due to its gearbox limitations.

The only fair way to compare the two would be in standard guise. Im affraid the RS6 would win every time. Im not leaning toward the 6 because i have one, its just fact!

I would agree with you there , the power figures alone on the 6's seem to be much more healthy than the 4's . I have only been in one 4 and it felt positively lame under hard acceleration maybe because I'm used to the acceleration of a bike.

How quick are the V10 RS6s then? Has anyone timed one of them (and surely people must be uprating them by now).
Cheers

The V10's in standard trim are quick, but it seems not noticably quicker than a standard C5 RS6 ie. not in another league as you'd expect from a car 5 years newer. A mapped V10 will knock out 700bhp and very large wads of torque so im guessing that would be insanley quick. I'd still rather have the V8 any day (or both if i could afford it).

Once again you're all talking power and no-one has mentioned weight.....
Power to unladen weight for standard cars are: RS2 197bhp/tonne, RS4 B5 238bhp/tonne, RS6 C5 241bhp/tonne.
So there's nothing in it as standard with an average sized pilot and basically how long is a piece of string for modified's......
Think the RS 6's gearbox would probably let it down in a straight scrap......

The real way to compare acceleration is by torque. I think the RS6 would have it!
