RS4 B5 Interior Options - Please help

Hi All,

Firstly new to the forum, so hi! I'm on the market for an RS4 in Avus silver. I assummed (wrongly!) that the dash trim and door cards etc would be black, as the Recaro seats are black, however, the one I went to see today had a darkish blue interior? Is this the norm? I have an S3 at the moment and really like the colour of the interior, so I was a little dissapointed by the RS4 I saw today. I'm also going to see one tomorrow with cream/white leather seats, so I'm hoping the trim is black....

If anyone could shed any light on the matter it'd be really appreciated. Many Thanks,

Karl.

Well it should be black.

But I know what you mean. Depending on the lighting you can see that it's a very dark blue. Or at least I've noticed that on the door cards. Not so much on the dash itself

Cream interior will still be the same issue, but obviously all leather inserts in cream.

HTH

Thanks for the input. I'm aware trim can fade in the light, but the S3's and S4's of the same age I've had were certainly 'black'. Guess the RS4 was made dark blue to distinguish it from the rest perhaps?

Maybe it was just the one I went to look at today was a little neglected and others are less noticeable......

Dark blue is a trim colour for the S4B5 so it wouldn't surprise me if it was found in the RS aswell.I have dark blue plastic trim, with grey leather.I don't think Audi stuck to any particular trend. If it has the black carbon inlay, the black plastic was normally used i think. If it's the carbon trim with the blue weave in it ,then a dark blue trim might have been used.Audi have been known to pick and mix though.I wouldn't be overly concerned as long as you like the trim colour that's what counts.
