Hi, Can onyone tell me where the coolant temperature sender is located on the engine. This is the only fault showing when i use the vagcom. Are there any diagrams in the public domain that show where all the engine sensors are located. Thanks, Brian

see link below, it's easy to spot I think, look for the plug, remove it and you should see a 4 pin sensor, early ones were black, later ones green.
If you aren't sure unplug and see if VAG COM logs a fault with coolant temp sensor after clearing any exisiting faults.
Make sure you remember the orientation of the clip and make sure the old o ring comes out and ideally replace it.
Do it with cold engine to minimise coolant loss and danger
