Slight boost hesitation

Ok Guys, My first Little (I hope) niggle with my car.
Gave a good run to newcastle this weekend and everything was ok Boost wise, did our regular stop for munch then off we go again. Straight the way coming out of the services I noticed something was different - you just get that feeling dont you, sitting at around 80mph (...shhhh) and I noticed a slight flutter as i was increasing speed. First i thought Coilpack but it settled a little.

Going through the average speed zone coming out the end, 5th gear, foot down and I noticed bang on 3k revs there was another hesitation

Since then its been the same, coming back today it didnt seem as bad but its still there. The best way I can describe it is on boost it hesitates a little, No smoke I could see, once its past the hesitation it all seems well...ish. Whether its just me but it does feel abit slower on pickup but once its up there it seems spot on...Anyone been in the same boat??

Took it to Doug couple weeks ago for health check, all was fine, had the Map put on itbecause the AMD map was tooo vicious for it and Doug put a new N75 on it. Was ok up until I turned her off for half hour whilst eating then seemed to just come on. Just Vag'd it and all is clear, no faults coming up at all...Im confused!!!!

oh and it had a new MAF 3 weeks ago.
Not checked for boost leaks yet, just thought id throw the issue up whilst watching the WC

Yeah seemed pretty good at the time till we did some logging and tried the MRC map and defo alot smoother on delivery. The AMD map was pushing the turbo's too much causing them to be very hot - or something like that.

Not unknown for a new MAF to malfunction early on- IIRC some are reconditioned too although can't imagine Doug used a recycled unit- is all the pipework in order since the boost leak test etc or has omething come adrift? Maybe thats why VAGCOM didnt flag anything.
On my first healthcheck both my (aftermarket) DV's were U/S but nothing came up on VAGCOM either....

Thanks Monkey.
I bought the Bosch MAF from Euro Car parts but will try it unplugged. Im going to give it a good checking when I get back from my hols, went out in it today and strangely it only hesitated once then it was fine on the 20 mile journey. Ill have to go through all the leads aswell...
