Hello.
My Rs4 is feeling a bit nervous at the rear at higher speeds.
Thinking about doing a 4wheel alignment.
What do you guys run and what is the stock numbers?

I had this problem. I changed the suspension then had the car realigned. Expensive but worth it!

Hummm yea. Im poundering though if its just the RS4 chassi setup that does it or if its my alignment.
My car has only done 112 000 miles so dampers and the like should be fresh and i cant feel any issues either regarding thoose. Thinking about starting with H&R springs and alignment fpr the moment. What you guys think?

I would look at suspension bushes etc mine had all replaced when only 4 years old, they are prone to wearing them out with the high torque surge when boost kicks in.112000miles on origonal shocks would be far from fresh imo but these are things that degrade very slowly and only when you drive a younger or lower mileage example you feel the difference,i suffered the same feeling from the rear of the car if i hit a manhole cover mid cover etc

I driva an example with 192k miles on the clock and that didnt have this issue so i pretty much ruled that one out. Might have to reconsider that one then. Thanks

Dosent anyone hade alignment specs?

my rs4s only done 54k , it was twitchy when i got it- have had a laser alignment ( a good centre should have the right settings for your car in the computer ) and its made a HUGE difference - for the 160 quid it cost me including replacing a seized front linkage it was well worth it. with 460 brake i want to know all the wheels are pointing in the same direction!
It may not directly solve your problem but its worth getting it done anyway.
good luck, Si

Have a look st the suspension bushes before you do anything expensive. They might just need replacing.

no point re-aligning suspension on 100k bushes in my opinion.
line them up perfectly at standstill then watch them move by 2deg under load!

Tried realignment and yes jc is correct when will i learn to listen
So what is the best option then. Just new uprated control arms or thoose adjustable ones? Does any1 here run these and what do they think?

New rear springs are good, H&R ARBs even better!
