Hi all

One of our customers Paul Cowland runs a Golf Gti in a saloon championship. We've sponsored it for the last few years doing alignment and other work he's asked us to carry out but very much a DIY racer and built most of the car himself only in his 2nd season and doing really well.

Unfortunately, he had a big crash at Brands on his last race - all safe and sound (only whiplash) but sadly the car is a little worse for wear.

Take heed for all of you track day warriors amongst you.....motorsport is Dangerous!!

Does look nasty.. shame there wasn't a bit more width in the track.. looks like he was on the way to recovering it.

He just over corrected rather than riding it out with a small amount of steering correction. Easy mistake to make.

But thats what racing is all about the danger of driving flat out. Ive seen many a car roll in the kitty litter at brands.
