B7 RS4 Front Brakes... Bedding in

Hi,
Recently had the B7 front brakes fitted to my B5 and so far I'm not overly impressed - I haven't done many miles and those that I have done have mainly been motorway.
Is there a bedding in period before I will start getting the best from them?
I also have a 325i touring and had the front brakes replaced recently and they are suberb in comparison - When I touch the pedal the braking is excellent. The B7 brakes just don't compare at the moment.
Any one else experienced the same?
Thanks

Have you changed the brake fluid recently?
New discs or old?

The brake master servo sometimes can struggle with the increase in pistons also...

I had the same issue ( new B7 front setup ). Resolved by bleeding the system twice. Probably cos the B7 calipers are huge compared to OEM B5 and take a bit of time to get rid of all air pockets.

Thanks for your comments - Brand new and fitted by MRC.
I assume the pads are standard Audi ones supplied with the complete set-up. The brake fluid was also changed when they were fitted, again standard brake fluid used.
I am due to go back to MRC in July so I will ask Doug to have a look and possibly re-bleed.
Cheers
