Bush & PSS9 reborn !

Post by pcfnet » Tue Mar 30, 2010 1:04 am

hi folks, just want to share my experience with you guys. I installed the powerflex bush kit set + Bilstein PSS9 coilover 1 yr ago. Initially it was rock hard even I set it to softless. during the past yr it soften a little bit but still I can feel quite a bit of "queking" sound from the suspension as well as bouncy rear end, its just like riding on spring without shock absorbing...

Recently I have been referred to a garage who check my car and immediately spot out my bush and suspension did not installed properly.. he spent a week or so doing some rework. When he finished and pass the car to me, its blown away. i could not believe it becomes another car, the rear end now has shock absorbing plus most "qucking" sound disappear. Handling is totally another car, almost like a new car. Now I feel the car a bit soft so I may "harden" the setup next.

I am amazed and convinced that I would choose this guy for all tunning in future. I thought the bush and coilover installation is nothing more than mechanical job. Obviously I was wrong. Next time when you do something onto your car, be aware who do this even for things you may think its straight forward.
