Hello
I am looking to buy a RS4 supposedly from 2001 but on the photo, the right mirror looks smaller than the left one but could it be optical illusion as on the other photo it looks normal.

European car, so thus the RHS mirror is smaller.
Not some optical illusion!

Normally both mirrors are the same size on an rs4. Has nothing to do with EU or UK.

It's normal.
In Europe, the same-size alu mirrors were an optional.

Sure is. If you order mirror caps off ebay, (from a German company) there is an option for the RHS to be smaller.
