Need help in taking apart my FDP tranny...

Hi I have an FDP code 6-speed tranny from my '01 RS4(B5). I am trying to have my tranny taken apart for inspection and would like to know if I were to turn the "UNION BANTO BOLT w/ HEX SOCKET HEAD (pn# 01E 311 308 A)" CLOCKWISE or COUNTER CLOCKWISE? TIA!!!
