Oh the R32 splitter thing! Looks nice, so when can someone come and fit one to mine?

Pole positions and then a baby seat in the back... quality image!

Yep the splitter. I was gonna colour code it, but thought I'd try the standard satin black look. I still might paint it Avus in the future, but for now I think I'll leave it !!
Was n't too hard to fit, but thought it would be easier to take off the bumper, to ensure it was a perfect fit:

What splitter is that...certainly doesn't look like a Cupra R one to me
More 911 Turbo-esque....but not entirely that aswell?

Not my cup of tea, although I think the subtle louvres are a nice touch.

Really pleased with it,but take your time getting both sides lined up the same as i wraps around the sides of the bumper. My only slight niggle is where the splitter is narrow at each end (towards the wheels), is that when your low down to the car,you can just see the part of the bumper showing under the splitter.as your car is not black like mine isn't,i think it makes it more noticeable.I may spray the underneath matt black.Your probably only talking about 4 inches in total, but i'm a bit of a perfectionist as you probably are.I hope you can make sense of this. it looks awesome from the front though, more stealth.
I see you've got bentley rims now,i bet they look sweet. My mates just fitted them to his mk5 r32.

Yeh got the 9 spoke 2 piece items, don't know if your mates got the same ones, as there are some 5 spoke items knocking around aswell. Just been so busy, and haven't washed the car in ages, and hence no pics. Plus trying to get time to fit the newly acquired PSS9 kit aswell
I think I can understand whwat you mean about the splitter at the sides
I think I'm going to bite the bullet and take off my bumper, and then do it, as I don't want to feel gutted afterwards, when it isn't right! I'll only kick myself then!

Why do peeps referto it as the R32 splitter? I thought the R32 didn't have one as standard, the only one I know about is the Seat cupra R ?

It's neither an R32 or Cupra R splitter,
they are different, and believe they don't have the vents in either. They are base only with legs.
Mine is a splitter made for the RS4 b5.
The cupra one looks like this:

As you can see, well different!

Yes you are right, it is the Seat Leon Cupra R one. It's just that it's been done to death on the R32, hence some people referring to this.

I'm gonna invest in shares in the company that makes front bumpers. In a year's time when the fad is over I reckon there'll be a rush on.
