034 Mounts (diff/tranny/engine/snub)

Hi guys.
My Rs4 is showing too much drivetrain slop, and when upshifting hard i can feel the rear diff moving back and forth badly..so i need new mounts all around.
(i already have a DTS).
- DIFF:

------
http://www.034motorsport.com/product_in ... s_id=14054 (are they really needed?)
- Tranny and engine
i'm tempted by the track density, but i don't want the car feeling like a vibrator because it's a DD and not a track days car.
What do you suggest me?
How are street density mounts compared to Rs4 stock mounts?
- Snub:
Snub+bracket
Please tell me what do you think about it, any suggestion is really appreciated.
Thanks,
Andrea

I have the street gbox and engine, very pleased, I also have dts and poly snub. They seem hard enough to me, the track density must be well ard!
The gbox ones are basically the stock with the gaps in the rubber filled in.
The engine ones are the same solid rubber design, (not oil filled like stock) both my engine mounts were leaking tho - so I wonder if a new OEM set would have felt this good, I mean maybe the 034s feel so good because my existing ones were shagged.

I'm currently running stock Rs4 mounts with 47'000miles on them.
I don't feel the car AS firm AS i would like it to be. Even if i already have a DTS installed.
I'm going to order a 034 Snub and wondering if it would be worth the money to upgrade also motor/tranny mounts with Street Density ones.... ???

I tried the 034 snub with bracket, but gave up trying to get it to fit. I ended up with the poly snub with the oem metal bracket. The 034 one is poorly designed, too small for the snub (you need some movement), the mounting holes dont line up at all, and the back of the bracket catches on the plastic mounting pin on the back plate.
Dont buy one, get the snub only and use the original bracket.

I fitted street density kit, including the 034 snub mount and bracket.
The only downside is a slight vibration on the clutch pedal.
Yes, fitting the snub mount is one of those 'special' jobs. I had to fit the mount to the brackets using a press and then offer the whole lot up to the engine as one assembly. Then I put the front back on the car.

and get street density! Not track density. I think you'll hate it if you are concerned about vibration.

my car is back now, it is running track density engine and gearbox mounts. alot with poly rear diff and front snub with bracket. with all of this the transmission system is now locked down. Also had Custom Front and rear sub frame bushes so the have frames are No longer floating they a locked to the car.
If you Only fit uprated mounts you just transfer the movement to the front subframe and KILL the bushes in it. BEEN there done that.

I've never experienced these mounts, can you feel more vibes through the car?

Some Vibes , But I fitted a full set of poly bushes to the car at the same time. Just be sure that the problem you have with the engine and gearbox moving is the mounts. Mine was the fornt sub frame bushes.

I've decided i'll go with street density.
I've ordered also a snub+bracket and Apikol rear diff mount. Plus DTS+poliurethane mount and Powerflex bushings all around.
I want a streetable car......

the 034 brackets needs a small amount cut off - and if you taper the end of th poly snub with a die grinder or file and use grease it slips in no problem.

Do you think Street Mounts will be a good choice for Daily Driving?
THanks

I have fitted a street mount set to an S4 and the are nice to drive every day. can't tell the difference between them and the OEM units.
