MRC and new wheels

Post by Jhcolling » Sun Apr 06, 2008 10:13 pm

The car has just been re-mapped at MRC and new wheels have been put on. After initial doubts about the wheels they have grown on me quite a bit. The car needs lowering a little but wgat do you lot think?

Looks good mate. Any pics of it from the side? I am looking at getting my wheels refurbed and painted either dark grey or black but not sure yet. I have a b5 s4 in the same colour as yours

Oh, if anybody is toying with the idea of going to MRC then I can promise you wont regret it. The car is now everything it should be! Goes like a train!!

Not a lot of difference in fuel economy. Doug told me that when you put your foot down it will use more fuel but under normal driving it should use less. I normally average 20-21mpg but now its about 19-20mpg.

Are they BBS RXII wheels - they look very good!
What's the offset and tyres you are running and was the grey centres a factory paint finish?

They are the RS-GT wheels, 8.5 at the front and 9.5 at the rear. BBS fitting kit was needed as the offset was et35.

I'll be honest I was expecting people to dislike the colour but i'm now feeling very positive about the wheels. I bought theem econd hand so have no idea the paint code on the wheels. They are unique

S25MRS, could you post a pic of your wheels on your car when you get them. I've seen some on ebay already done in that colour and am thinking of getting them.

Car looks great with the GT's, and the darker centres compliment the misano paint.

Very nice!!

Be happy to, chunky... also waiting for a set of spacers from someone on here as soon as he's finished with them. Won't be before the end of the month though, I shouldn't think, by the time I get everything done.
