i will soon be getting my car serviced and i dont know which specialist to go to mrc or qst .both have a good reputation. any body out there had services done by these two any information would be helpful as this is the first time im going to a specailist for a service .its a relief i dont have to go to a audi dealer ever again to be ripped off

I have used both and both are very good. Not very helpful i know but at least u know they are both good. Go with the one closest to you thats why i usually go to qst.

I've used QST and they were great when my water pump went. Offered me a courtesy car as well

I've used QST in the past and they have been fine. I now use MRC who are 120 miles away from where I live compared with 40 miles for QST....draw your own conclusions.

Im there (MRC) on Monday for a Cam Belt & full service, I'm travelling 379 miles that's how good I think they are.

I'd also recommend Grizz as well over in the Wirral (I know that's quite a distance for you but very good, helpful, wealth of knowledge, courtesy car if needed, plus he's in his new garage now...)

Did a service for me last week - arrived and left within few hours and very happy with service

lynchy .. you are on the North side of London so my gut feeling would be to pootle up the M40 to MRC at Banbury. Had you lived on the south side then the suggestion would have been to go down to QST.

Having a service at MRC inc plugs and an RS7 front/rear brake upgrade based on feedback from the forum- spoke direct to Doug who was very friendly and accommodating -roll on the the 18 April for that big brake feel!! Am travelling from Farnham so will have a few opportunities to road test them on the way back!

I've recently had my car serviced and re-mapped at MRC. Can't fault them. I travelled from Cheshire to have the work done,

Anyone used APS in Brackley, they seem to have a good reputation

I have used APS and have been very impressed with their service and prompt email answering.
They did my 4 wheel alignment, cambelt change and will be back there in 1k miles for a service.
A very professional service with a wealth of knowledge available between Ed, Andy and Nathan (who was Geoff Everett's apprentice when AmD were at Oddington). I travelled there from Bham and got bus and train back which took about 3 hrs but will do it again!

Mind you Kim at QST was very quick to answer an email I sent him about my car which was MTM'd before I bought it but not used him for any work.

I'm in South London and I would have no hesitation in recommending QST. Kim and Mike have looked after my stock S4 (2000 plate) for the last four years including refurbished alloys, new cambelt, four-wheel tracking plus the standard services etc etc. Very happy with them.

Maybe a bit late with this one if you've already made up your mind, but judging from the previous comments it would seem like MRC is your choice?

I haven't been to the other places, but I can tell you that you will get a FIRST CLASS service at MRC
What Doug doesn't know about these cars could be written on the back of a very small postage stamp (and it would be something pretty obscure and totally irrelevant to their wellbeing)
