Depends - do you want the stealth aspect, or do you want to show off that it's been changed?

Personally, I'm sticking with looking subtle and stockj, whe nI get my changes done.

Looking good Jimbo. That's what I would do re the plate, i.e. fit one of those surrounds where it can simply be unclipped. Nice touch.

I see you left your fog lights in. I junked mine already. Do you know if the side grilles fit anyway, or do the pipes get in the way? I have some Sportec style grilles, so they may be OK as they are flatter (and more bendy!).

im after another bottom grille that i can cut down to the size of a number plate then just insert it into the number plate holder. theres no chance of putting any grilles on the sides because the pipework comes out too far and the fogs had to be relocated much further up and to the outside and i think they look a bit daft now so theyll be going soon. theres also a new oil cooler behind the pass side fog light. :nogarors4:

Yeah, looks good, but you lose the foglights...
And you're basically saying that, because the pipes come too far out the bumper, you need to leave them exposed???

Looking good.

What difference has it made in performance?

doug reckons high 4s with the catless miltek downpipes, fmic and resonated system and the remap. the car goes like a rocket now .going from std downpipes with gutted precats to no cats at all has made a huge difference in noise, it now sounds like a wrc machine with all the popping and banging. :nogarors4:

Why don't you spend a bit of time cutting up a plate so only the numbers/letters are there? Get rid of the white altogether.
Get a german style pressed plate and a bit of time with drill/saw/file should make it look well trick
Tomorrow is another day

everything is going to be for sale shortly ie, rs4 intercoolers ,pipes ,shrouds ,fogs ,grilles, mtm chip, oil cooler with pipes, pas cooler, air con fan and maybe the down pipes depending weather i can live with the noise. as for the plate i saw another car at mrc that had the numbers and letters removed by laser just leaving a white backing.

its the white that is the reflective part of the plate so having a black FMIC and cutting out the numbers and letters will still let air through and the plate should still look ok..
nice cooler too..just like i sell..
