I ordered a set of Conrod Bearings (std. size) for for my RS4(ASJengine) from the States.
What arrived was almost .5mm thicker!
Looks like std.RS4 conrod bearing is NOT thesame as std.S4 ones! :(

They're not! The RS4 bearings are thinner because of the bigger bolts used on the RS4. Use the search, this has been discussed here before. Also I wouldn't use anything different than the stock bearing shells because the top once are extreemly strong sputter bearings.

The bearings ID is the same, but OD os different. The RS4 bearings are also about 4 times expencier... I paid 470€ of those.

If you order the bearings from Audi they come without the oil feeder holes which are the original type.

I got told these was the same as s4 bearings apart from these holes when i got mine replaced i had these hole put in.

S4 and RS4 bearings have different thicknesses!

So you mean that if you order bearings from Audi, you don't get originals? (because they don't have holes?)

The bearings are different, no matter what someone else says. I can also measure S4 ans RS4 bearings to have a proof...
