lock to lock about 10 times should bleed it.

If it is intermittant at low revs(but works when blipping the throttle) it is the pump starting to go.

what if its intermittant whatever the rev's?
no strange noises,
done the bleed thing,
just all of a sudden you loose power steering,
then as strange as it goes away, it comes back?????

new pump fixed problem but the pump was faulty and has half pushed one of the rack pipes off, (the swaged end)

not a happy bunny, what pressure is in the pipes on the rack?
