I've got Fuchs wheels on my Porsche, have never heard of the oil though.

Yeh the Fuchs Silkolene (Pro R/S) stuff is supposed to be excellent, although I'm pretty sure GSF stock the normal variety of Fuchs oils and not the Silkolene stuff.
Just buy Synta Gold from your local VAG dealer.

Most Audi dealers stopped selling Synta a while back due to the introduction of AVS, but you can still buy it from VW dealers as they use it at service.

Fuchs is a fine oil, dont push themselves to hard in the UK, dont seem to be over bothered, very popular in germany etc and are used on factory fill for most VAG models.
You will have no issue with it.
Cheers
Guy.
