Any ideas on what upgrades are suitable for RS4 brakes? Not looking at any track work but seem to get fade when pushing hard.

Best brake for the buck is RS6+ or B7 RS4 upgrade. No fade, even on track!!!

May I recommend just the big calipers if you don't intend to go on a track. Had this on my RS4 Stage III with new standard discs, and it was more than adequate! Having said that the RS6 discs may not be that much more. Seems a good price from Mihnea especially as a standard RS4 discs and pads ONLY from Audi (admitedly all round) are that price without the calipers. They look great too.

It's the way to go, IMHO...

the other options include six pot calliper conversion and floating discs from AP Racing, but will cost you a further £500 or Movit conversion a further £1500..... £ for £ RS6 is probably the way to go.....

I wouldn't be so quick to dispell the efficacy of the new B7 RS4 stoppers

Mihnea, they fade on the RS6 on track, so is there that much difference in the weight/momentum of an RS4 and RS6 to eliminate fade?

The ability too cool between load won't be any different.

Something to do with a 6 being considerably heavier than a 4 might make the difference....

The cayenne kit is nice indeed but why use a smaller than stock RS4 disc on an RS4, i.e. 352mm vs. 360? Also, from what I've heard, there's LOTS of machining on the front hub carriers involved on an RS4 for the Cayenne kit...

Just a thought...
