God knows how you post pictures!! :?:

Anyway a sad day as some idiot drove straight into the back of me while i was in stationary traffic at about 40kmh !!!!!! :knob:

the car is quite badly pushed in, the bar with the boot cover now has about 4cm of play left and right and the back doors are now hanging about 3cm to low to close!!

I dont know if its a right off or not as I just got it home yesterday.

Anybody got experiance on accident repair or do you think its goosed?

Problem is if I want to get a replacement RS4 from germany or swiss you cannot import to andorra if the car is more than 3 years old. When did the last RS4 roll out????

BOO HOO

All sympathy welcomed

Nasty :(

Looks like the exhaust is bent too and that kind of impact the propshaft probably needs replacing.

Good luck with insurance claim and getting a replacement car.

If you are quick you may be able to get an RS4 which is under 3 years old.

Looks bad mate, I would start looking for a replacement asap :( .

Unless the chassis bent then I'm sure that can be repaired.

What did the idiot who hit you have to say?! :FIREdevil:

But yeah, hopefully if the chassis isn't damaged, could be ok.

Good luck!

The idiot was in a kia (oh the pain of it all!!!)
He told the recovery man that he was changeing the cassete and wasnt looking

as for the repair the car appears to be wider across the car by 2cm either side (you cannot put the seats up as they wont locate) and you cannot close the back doors as they hang down.....we will see. I am off to have abetter look now and will take some photos to see what you all think..

thanks for the sympathy everyone it all helps

Gutted. One of my friends suffered a similar fate in his old Cavalier when some lass drove into his boot and it bent the entire back half of the car. Sounds like yours has buckled too. Hope the ins pay out is fair and you source a similarly beautiful misano replacement.

I ve uploaded a load of pics for the rubberneckers out there.

what do you think right off or repair????????

I guess it will all come out in the wash.....

Does any one know the date that RS4 stopped production because if it is written off then I may not be able to replace her....

Cavalier - RS4 ???

Not quite the same thing, or am I missing something?

Always horrible when something like this happens, I had it myself last year on my old car when a cyclist T- boned me exiting a pedestrianized walk way and straight out into the road, he totally killed the drivers side rear quarter . Just be happy I suppose that the guy actually has some insurance unlike my cyclist.

Usually the case, actually seen a lotus esprit totatly written off in a head-on collision by a guy trying to stop himself from going into the back of a Skoda, must have been kicking himself later for that one.

Possibly written off but I doubt will be forgotten. With the car holding such a high resale value and low production run I would presume that if it cannot be repaired it will be re-shelled.

The ususal ones for this exercise is the TVR's.
