Mov'it 380mm discs

It seems the Mov'it 380mm discs are a Porsche disc with the mounting holes drilled from 8.5mm to 9mm (and poorly on the Mov'it disc)
Yesterday I managed to fit (believe they're from a GT3 Cup car) new 380mm discs that are identical to the Mov'it disc bar the size of the hole needed to fix to the hat.
Anyway, a pillar drill and 10 minutes later, new front discs fitted to the old hats and at a fraction of the price QST wanted.
I'll post pictures and details of part numbers later.
Sorry if this is old news, the only two ways I could see were to give QST £660 a disc or get MRC to do some machining of the caliper brackets to fit smaller brakes.
I believe both discs come in at under £400 btw.

Think this could be very interesting reading for quite a few guys who are running these on the b5. Good work!

Great work, I wonder if those will fit the B7 Bells.
What thickness are they?

The B7 is 34mm but cannot see that being a problem as there would be plenty of travel in the Pistons to handle the 2mm difference, yes would be interesting to know if they would fit the bells

My mate has a B7, I'll see what the fitment is like.
Are the B7 380mm though?

No they are 360mm, which would probably be a change of caliper, as I think the guys that are running 380mm discs like the ceramics have upgraded the calipers too
Perhaps someone could confirm this
The other way would be a 20mm spacer plate, not sure if this has been done either

Rich & Si - JHM have some good info in the link below on their 380mm upgrade for the B7 RS4. Not sure if the same counts for a 380mm upgrade on the C5 RS6 ?

There's the answer they use shims, easy as that
That looks a good option if you don't mind giving up the drilling's
I still quiet like the Porshe set up, so will check out the hole centres for fixing to the B7 bells

To run a 380mm disc using b7/c5 calipers all that is needed is a 2x 7mm spacers per caliper fitted between the caliper & caliper bracket.
I have recently fitted girodisc 380mmx34mm discs to my b5 rs4.

Hi there HEKTOR
Ok, do you know if the hole centres on the B5 bells are the same as on the B7?
How much did the discs set you back?
Are they drilled and vented?
What's the weight comparison?
Do you have a link for the discs?
