I have heard mixed views on what the limitation of the standard MAF is. My car was on 592bhp and have upgraded all internals and put matched 2.4 heads on. Some say that the MAF cannot read glow above these kind of numbers?

I'm surprised no-one has developed a big MAF conversion. Same sensor into a slight bigger housing and it will move spread the range it can read. Needs to be carefully calculated though as you'd need a big remap to account for the difference.

You mean like the 100mm hitachi MAF housing Doug put in his B5 WB? It took a long time to get that map right, 3 days IIRC.

Still might be quicker (and cheaper) that getting a MOTEC. Plus keeps all the standard ECU feastures.
