In the interest of lobbying for what appears to be wide-spread interest in these Intercoolers - ME TOO !! I want them.

Struggling to understand the lack of progress on this matter ?? Cumon Nige - what's the status??

Sorry for the late response, Yea.. It's a DUH, it took a while to fit it right.. The only problem is the Intercooler blocks the the radiator quite a bit. the water temp never below 90 degrees, After some WOT it can go as high a bit over 90. By the way, what kind of water temp are you guys running?[/quote]

your water temp should be at 90 degrees min if its any less then the thermostat isnt working properly. i dont think in this country at this time of year your going to get any cooling problems with the ic sitting in front of the rad. over in spain in the middle of summer when your seeing 40 degrees it may become a problem. re the larger side mounts i also emailed the company about 4 months ago and got no response. ive heard of one forum member who had some of these and then removed them in favour of a fmic :?:

Most of the time unless I rag it. It's going in for a cambelt and waterpump change on the 3rd of March. Should they change the thermostat then?

OK, so here is the long awaited update on the IC kit from rs4intercoolers.co.uk ....

I'm afraid the news is not good - we realise that the original cost for the kit of £1500 seemed expensive for some buyers, but the development costs involved kind of dictated this to some extent. We are now looking at ways to reduce the cost and improve on the original design (if possible), and as such we are currently talking with alternative suppliers to a) reduce the cost and b) deliver on time. This may take a wee while, so it would be unwise to even guesstimate a date when the next batch may be ready.

I know it's not the news some people wanted, but we will update you if the situation changes.
