Goes to show colour's pretty much a personal choice...I didn't go out looking for DD red until I viewed one that colour. I had even said I didn't want another red car..

Simon, how are you doing?!
I was only looking at the RS Drivers Challenge (2003) video last night with your car in it when Gav had it and thinking "that's just like mine"!
There is another one in the vid belonging to a Ken with alloy mirrors and roof rails and it looks a bit OTT IMHO with vibrant Noggy.
I've also got carbon inlays when I had piano black in my last one, what do you have Simon?

I found the vid somewhere and saved it to my HD.
It's around 40 mins so You Tube needs it in 4 parts, here is part 1;

Great video,would love to have been involved in that,nice pole positions in one of the cars 8)

Could do with some subtitles though :lol:

We did something similar about 5 years ago when 15 of us went out in our evo's,it looks great when theres a convoy of the same cars.
We did a dvd for the people involved and i also got a nice letter from the police for my troubles :roll:

Is that JER's?
He is a forum founder and shows his face every so often.
Last time I heard he still had it along with a GT3, John are you around..?
It's funny how this vid isn't in the downloads section as it's an interesting insight into the early entusiasm that started this forum.
Alas the RS Challenge days were canned soon after I believe.
In the later footage there is some close ups of an RS4 saloon done to very high standard, a visit to Mov-it and some footage around Hockenheimring (which is around 30 mins down motorway from Neckarsulm factory), tune in later :thumbs:

I realised that Part 1 vid should have been closer to 9 mins - I shut my laptop lid and truncated the upload so here the longer version link
