blacking out front rings

The rings havent chipped since I done them about two months ago, but the grill frame has and it was done a month earlier. I know why it's done it, as I didnt paint it quite the same way as the rings, so I'm going to do it again.

Hammerite paint could be another option, though I don't think it comes in a matt or satin finish, only gloss.

Will stick with the Plastikote as simple to apply.

It is indeed, the best way is to apply a few coats (paint\clear) with 1hr between each coat, if you leave it longer than 3 hours between coats it will crackle and your back to square one with it.

Simple solution,

I just fitted a set of black rings I found on Ebay. Arrived from U.S. in just five days.

No painting, no chipping and clicked straight into place. Perfect fit.

For those that can't make your minds up you still have original rings for Sundays.
