Mudflaps for the RS4

Post by TS5RS » Tue Feb 14, 2006 3:28 pm

I am looking to fit mudflaps to my RS4 and I know there is differing opinion on the subject but can anybody point me in the right direction to Audi part numbers etc

I know this subject was discussed some months/year ago.....and I seem to remember when looking for an RS4 there was a RS4 for sale at an Audi dealer in Carsile/Cumbria way with mudflaps fitted.

Appreciate any feeback.

Stock A4 flaps wont fit and there was no option for them so you have to fashion yer own methinks

I had a set on my avus car, from memory.. and forgive me if I am wrong... am old and it was 5 years ago... they were S6 rear flaps and TT front flaps slightly modified with a stanley knife. Parts bloke spent hours trying different flaps.... They were not a great fit but passable and did reduce some of the splatter up the side of the car and stopped the chipping of the rear door. they did not however stop the dirt flying up the back window...........

I have a Black RS4 with mudflaps and they certainly don't stop dirt getting all over the rear window. I believe they are home designed (by the previous owner) so I can't give a before and after comparison.
