I have recently fitted girodisc 380mmx34mm discs to my b5 rs4.
Hi there HEKTOR

Ok, do you know if the hole centres on the B5 bells are the same as on the B7?

How much did the discs set you back?

Are they drilled and vented?

What's the weight comparison?

Do you have a link for the discs?

Yesterday I managed to fit (believe they're from a GT3 Cup car) new 380mm discs that are identical to the Mov'it disc bar the size of the hole needed to fix to the hat.

Anyway, a pillar drill and 10 minutes later, new front discs fitted to the old hats and at a fraction of the price QST wanted.

I'll post pictures and details of part numbers later.

Sorry if this is old news, the only two ways I could see were to give QST £660 a disc or get MRC to do some machining of the caliper brackets to fit smaller brakes.

I believe both discs come in at under £400 btw. :beerchug:
This is a God send to me!!! :notworthy: :notworthy:
I was just about to place an order (although with Movit directly) and hand over close to €1500

Where did you source your Porsche discs for that price??

Sorry, I've been at the Nurburgring so I've not had time to chase the part number.

I'll try and find it this evening.

We are going to try and fit my old discs to my friends B7 hats next week and then hopefully just space the calliper for the larger disc.

Well we had a look yesterday and the discs definitely won fit the standard B7 hats.

I'm waiting for the supplier of my discs to get back with a part number, but he's away on holiday so it could be a week or so.

Sorry guys, I've not been here in ages.

I believe the GT3 cup part No. Is
993 351 407 87 - front left disc
993 351 408 87 - front right disc

Any Porsche people, the part No. says 993 as they were also used on the 993 GT2.

If you do some looking around, you can find the equivalent Brembo part No. For about $400. Huge saving over QST.

I actually have two old discs that have some life left if anyone would like them. I'm now slumming it in a slow B7.
