I beleive it is quite straight forward to convert DVD's from NTSC to PAL, I have the relevant software. If anyone needs it doing I would be prepared to try.

Just while we're on the subject, am absolutely not intending using the site to tout for business, but I do a lot of editing of peoples existing 'home videos' to DVD. Music, titles, slideshows etc, just in case anyone has film they'd like condensing with soundtrack or even making themselves look as though they're going faster  Would love to do stuff as favours, but I've got this bloody expensive car to run... However mates rates apply. PM me if anyone's interested and I'll drop you a showreel. Alternatively, forget I said anything, looks like Diesel has cornered the market!

WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

What a great DVD totally awesome

Thanks to the Brazilians!!!!

The Brazilian Audi RS4 advert was the best ad I have seen in years. How do you film a Snail doing that!!!!!

What are the snails saying in the pub afterwards?

Junior - do all your mates play at being dead in the middle of a main road?

Phil - How did you and James miss each other?

Thanks again to Jose, Junior and anyone else involved

bob, see my other post re transfering DV tape onto DVD / CDRom. I have about a dozen tapes with incar & onbike footage.

I'm not after anything fancy at this stage, just advice on copying the raw images to archive them.
Once I've done that I'll worry about adding music, editing etc should I ever find the time !
Any advice gratefully received.

Can't wait to see this DVD, it sounds awesome. :boots:

John, I use Mac for editing, so different ballgame, however if you have DV in firewire on your PC then a basic programme like MovieMaker should be all you need for transfers and elementary cutting. Had an old PC laptop and that had MM on it installed with XP. Sure you don't have it already?

Cheers
