Right question for you all as this one interests me

1BD = Suspension/shock absorption for special sports design

Does anyone else have this on their option sticker? I am sure mine has Quattro GMBH suspension on it from the plus brochure but want to confirm if this is the code.

Thanks

I've got 1BD but it isn't GmbH suspension, it's the standard RS4 spec
The decoder web site below lists it as what you say

Said it before, say it again- hi-tech is miles better than leather, I'd save yourself the trouble of swapping it back and keep it. Full leather would actually put me off- I've had long experience of Audi leather- the centre panels always sag after about 50,000 miles....
Hi-tech looks better, wears better and as it was a no cost option shouldn't affect residuals anyway- its just a preference as already mentioned by a few.
Just my 2 cents......

Steve
PS Simon- your Mrs is hard work because you'd rather slope about at SRR of a Saturday rather than take her shopping for shiny.......
No Mulder, no Scully, no cybernetics- she's a woman.....

I have 1BD and my shocks are orangey red or at least they once were looking at the two very corroded fronts in my garage- does this mean they are GMBH?

Std RS4 shocks and GmbH ones are the same colour but a different part number. If you have Quattro GmbH your rear anti-roll bar will be 17mm not 15mm and marked Eibach, the springs are marked Eibach RS4 Sport HD.
