BTW does anyone know for sure the octane rating of Shell v-power (the old one) ?

... we do the cleaning? Is it necessary to do a port and polish when I have the car go thru carbon cleaning? I asked my tuner local shop here in the Philippines. My friend who is the owner said if we do the carbon cleaning we might as well do the port and polish since the Intake Manifold is out anyways... ...

Just purchased a B7 RS4 .... It has been my dream car ever since I had B5 1.8TQ back in 1999... Anyways hope to learn a lot from the forums

... and never planned to launch it anyway. But recently about 15 cases of tranny solenoids going kaput even without launching. All GTR imports to the Philippines are grey market imports hence no dealer support (no consult 3 testbook) w/c is why I sold it.
