Re: New tyres fitted, rubbing on bumps
Are they definately rubbing? My car would give a "brushing" noise if pressing on over heavily undulating road. I asked the tyre company if there was any signs of rubbing after fitting the 275 ratio tyres. They told me it was the vertical plastic strip at the back of the front spoiler catching the gr...

Also works with the sat nav to radio volume ratio.
Ie if the nav instructions are too quiet / too loud, adjust the volume in the desired direction during a "sat nav announcement"

Re: The end of an era
Funny you should say that... My Caterham is my longest serving car. Had the current one 9 years come september, and it still puts a huge grin on my face every time I drive it! Had an Elise a few years back and loved that as well. Since I've opted back for a new company car, my current thinking is an...

Re: The end of an era
It the moment the garage is empty, and I have an itch to go shopping! The replacement was orderd in January, and is now built currently on its way from Germany. As I am returning to a company car, I have chosen an A6 Avant Bi-turbo quattro, as a (semi) tax efficient motor that still does 60 in 5 sec...

The end of an era
Well, not sure how I feel.
Just seen the RS4 drive off with its new owner.
Over 5 years, and 55,000 miles of great enjoyment, and beautiful V8 soundtrack to boot.
Hope the new owner enjoys it as much as I have, and 'm sure I'll be back

Re: Daytona Grey RS4 Avant
Very sad to see the new owner drive away in the RS4 today.
I have owned some intersting cars over the years, and I have to say the RS4 is certainly one of, if the best car I have ever had.
I hope the new owner enjoys the car as much I I have,
Chris

Re: Bluetooth connecting/disconnecting- Android Samsung S2 L
I had an HTC on Android that did similar things. Pulling the battery out of the phone would fix it or a few days, then the issue would return. Sometimes it would be ok for a couple weeks, but at some point it would return to the connect / disconnect sequence until the phone battery was removed. (pow...

Re: Need assistance to view car.
Struggling to see at Least a £5k premium for that over my car despite the difference in mileage. These cars need to be driven!
Looks pretty much identical, other than that to mine other than mine is an 07

Re: Daytona Grey RS4 Avant
Hi, Been away, so sorry for not responding earlier. The car doesnt have an extended warranty, but these can be arranged independantly if you feel the need. The car does benefit from having the proper recaro bucket seats (heated front & rear) and the all important flat bottomed steering wheel though ...
