RE: Anyone going to lemans?

Took my RS6 in 2007 dolled up in pistonheads stickers, the boys at the Houx Annexe roundabout wanted wheel spinning, ahem I said, not so easy. Am also going this year but in the TVR Cerbera as sadly the RS has moved on, staying with Team Langoustine at Tertre Rouge and travelling down Thursday, if I...

I can also recommend Pentagon paint & body at Hatfield, they are only 100 yards from Hatfield Audi, from personal experience excellent work. Audi/VAG approved and very efficient/professional.

RE: Fitting new PSS9

7 will be like DRC, all bouncy and floaty and I agree the click is not very positive, next to useless when you can't see and are fumbling behind the rear wheel whilst chilling out as a missionary on tarmac. Don't go softer than 4. As to fitting, think you may need expert advice from them that fit th...

OK, well I'm surprised that you buy stronger ARB's and use the lesser rear setting which admittedly is 50% stiffer than OEM, however the stiffer setting gives a little more at 65%. So if you use the slightly softer setting on the rear ARB, it allows more flexing at the rear and the front wheels do n...

RE: Re: RE: H&R and Hotchkis Sway-bars settings

Hotchkis fronts are one setting only, rears have two settings, from memory the settings are about 50% and 65% stiffer than OEM, so use the stiffest setting.

Err.... they've all got one as std factory fit!

A search on old threads will reveal where it is.

Nothing to worry about and compared to a speed six TVR sewing machine, you'll be right at home..... No they all do it, especially in the cold weather, it'll go when its gets warmer, just the cossie designed heads.

RE: 60K Service - Mucho Pesos?

I'd agree, dealers will charge £600 - £700 for the big service, as the car ages and miles grow, just forget the dealers and use MRC or Grizz, people who know what they are doing and the service record actually counts for something. Best thing about Audi is a no quibble 2 year guarantee on work, but ...

If Audi are quoting £1200, then best take it as its a great warranty, second to none. I myself have been self insured for 2.5 years, spent £3k though on fixing DRC 1st time, then ripping it off and replacing it all for PSS9's. All other maintenance has been at Audi and they stump up for any of their...
