I've found the info that I recalled seeing (from http://www.pistonheads.com/GASSING/topic.asp?h=0&f=86&t=716344&nmt=Severe%20tyre%20noise%20on%20S4%20Avant%20when%20tyres%20are%20half%20worn): "Secondly, and this is more important, simply because it is more likely to occur, and it regards the 'Load ...

For the full system you need both the hi-flow cats and the cat-back. That's what I've got. I expect the cat-backs on their own would make a big difference to the sound. In theory, the cats are supposed to make more of a performance difference (but, at least on my subjective assessment, I'm not convi...

My B6 S4 has the full Milltek and the Revo remap. I'm not sure I'd bother with the remap (marginal difference as far as I can tell) again, but I'm very happy with the Milltek. The standard S4 was just a bit too quiet for me, and now I can make the most of that beautiful V8 rumble! I went for the qui...

I replaced mine with F1's recently and have been very pleased with them. See http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topi ... 2Bgoodyear

Milltek exhaust for S4 4.2 V8?
I've just had the REVO remap done and am now considering having Milltek Cat Backs + Cats/Downpipes (Resonating) fitted. Before I spend the money, has anyone made similar changes to this on a V8 and are you glad you had it done? I'm hoping to get slightly improved performance (the main reason for goi...

Tuning options and insurance for S4 (B6) V8
I'm considering going for an ecu remap (probably AMD) and possibly Milltek cats/exhaust. Not expecting massive performance gains, but hoping for some gain plus a better throttle response and louder/more exciting exhaust note! Does anyone on here have experience of these upgrades? If so, is it worth ...

S4 Tyres
Time to replace all 4 tyres on my 2003 V8 S4. Currently have Continental Sport Contact 2's on the rear and Dunlop SP Sport 9000's on the front (nothing to do with me - they were on the car when I bought it!). Anyone know what's standard fitment, or have any recommendations for something better pleas...
