RE: Help with soft wheel claim in NZ PLEASE !!

Hi James. Spoke to a Auckland RS4 owner who had all his rims replaced by Giltrap. His car had under 50 000k on it though. When I bought my car from Giltrap I brought up the issue of the rims, and they said all the RS4's should of had their rims replaced with harder type earlier on. My car has 2 soft...

RE: Poor intel

Other option is Koni's. Put them on my RS2 when I was in ZA. Must say though, the rear Boges are pretty good, but also pretty expensive. I could also only find front Bilsteins, that is why I went for the matching Koni's. Spent a lot of time on RS2 suspension, AR Bars and tyres, ---- Tyres, tyres, ty...

There is a guy who traded his RS4 for a 911Turbo. If I can recall correctly- he bought miltek but did not fit it. He might still have it??? Must say it would make a good change to the car.

I have still got 5 brand new RS2 plugs, and was going to get 6 new RS4 plugs. So can I just get 1 RS2 plug and use them instead?

Hi James.
Good stuff with the car. I am based in Auckland and also have Silver RS4. Must say mine does not do that at all. Hope you find the reason.

RE: Where to mount a fire extinguisher

Get a 1kg and stick it in the glove compartment. No drilling needed. Dont know if that will suffice for your track day regs though.

Yes, saw that. Actually spoke to the guy and tried to set up a day for me to fly down and see the car. He was suposed to get back to me re: what day, but did not hear from him. I thought he must have sold it to someone else. I ended up buying superb B5 RS4. I was very surprised to see it back on tra...

My pump also packed up, stripped it and found small non return valve stuck. From old non Audi oil. Did not actually have to take pump out to get to non return valve.

Spark plug service interval?

Hope you guys can help me as I am sure confused. I am also sure it has been posted. What is the spark plug service interval for the RS4. The manual says plugs to be changed every service, ie: 15000km, but dealers tell me book is wrong and their program, which comes from Germany Audi, says every 90 0...

RE: Power loss when braking, with accelerator on?

Thanks for the great response. Seems like I will have to have it removed via re-map.
I did try it with ESP off, but still does the same.

Power loss when braking, with accelerator on?

I have had my RS4 for about 3 weeks now, after being a very happy RS2 owner. Last weekend I went out for a burn and was quite dissapointed. I brake with my left foot through corners to scrub off speed and to keep the turbo spooling, when I did it in the RS4 power dropped off completely. I would then...
