Re: TPMS Troubleshooting

I think you will find they are now an MOT requirement, rear antenna is cheap and easy to change.

Re: Drivers side lower door trim

Re: Expensive Jan!

If the tyres nearly failed an MOT you shouldn't even own a car like this.

Mine was still under warranty when I sold it last week.
Good luck with your sale but sadly I think you may need to knock about 7k off.

Re: Rusting door blades: Me vs Audi

They are definitely not part of the door although they look like it. They are plastic with a steel backing which rusts and causes them to "blow". Had both my fronts done, cost about £65 each and Audi sprayed them for nothing as a gesture of goodwill so how you had to pay £850 is beyond me. They are ...

Re: Delayed Start on My RS4

It's listed as fuel pump relay but 614 is not for the fuel pump. It is a main power relay which if I remember rightly from the 14 fault codes I had includes power to sensors for secondary air injection, engine mounts, lambdas, fuel pressure regulators and various others. One of the other codes I had...

Re: Delayed Start on My RS4

Had a similar intermittent problem which threw all sorts of fault codes but not the starter relay one. Turned out (so far so good) to be relay number 614 which is located somewhere below the driver's side ecu.

Re: New manifold

Sadly I think you will find the manifold problem is due to worn actuator shafts and you will still need to be shafted for a new manifold :audibash:

Re: TPMS Fault - Antenna for Tire Pressure Monitoring Rear

Gently prise out the honeycomb panel from the rear bumper with a screwdriver. A Silver clip will drop out but so far no-one knows where it goes and it doesn't appear to be needed. Once you have the panel out you will see the antenna clipped into a bracket on the offside. Unplug it and remove it, sti...

If it is the antenna it is very easy to replace.

Re: VCDS Error code

Sounds similar to a problem I had, light was intermittent and twice I started to drive to the dealers and it went out on the way. Drove around for about a year like it, sometimes it didn't come on for weeks and the code was the same as you have. Finally came on when at the dealers for MOT and they r...

Re: VCDS Error code

Has the EPC light stayed on? If it has could be faulty sensor or loss of vacuum.
If it comes and goes i.e. intermittent then probably sticking actuator shaft due to wear.

Your EPC light will come on and you will be limited to 7000 rpm.

Re: Bluetooth disconnect issues

Search the internet, there is a known problem with Windows 8 phones. When I bought mine I asked if it was backwards compatible and of course the answer was "yes" when the truth is "no". Rumour has it there will be a phone firmware upgrade but no sign of it yet.
