I'm surprised at how the S4 keeps pulling at well over the 100mph mark - anyone know how far over the 155Mph limiter it could go if de-restricted?

Has anyone here hit the limiter and if so, was it dead on 155?

rs666 - that was exactly my thoughts when I sat in the 997!! The only think that let it down was the door handles...they look bad and they feel bad. Certianly not 993 build quality

Picking up my 2003 S4 Saloon on Saturday! Slightly higher miles that I wanted but the price reflected this and it seemed a well cared for car. Black with Grey leather too so the spec I wanted.

Well, I sold my 993 on Friday...was very sorry to see it go after 4 years. Feel like my arm is missing or something! Still, I cant wait for the right S4 to turn up - hopefully I'll be able to have a good look around for one on Saturday! In the meantime, if anyone knows of a nice Black/Grey with grey...

I'm quite looking forward to the effortless driving - long distnces in the 993 can be tiresome with the noise and front wheels feeling for every groov...
