If you get the whole car wrapped and ever want to sell it on you will probably have to get it all removed. Most people wouldn't consider buying a car without being able to get the wrapper off and seeing whats underneath; can hide a mulitude of sins!!

Evidence of water under the oil cap is common on low mileage RS4's that don't get long runs but shouldn't be a sign of anything more sinister.

We have to remember that prices of used cars generally were lower 1 year ago than today in real terms. The recession hit used values hard so prices fell some 20-25% in the autumn winter of 08 then recovered steadily throughout 2009. Although £20k seems low now even for a high mileage RS4, it was pro...

Try Monty's Wheels and Tyres in Iver http://www.montyswheelsandtyres.com/default.asp?cookiecheck=yes& We have used them for years. They are a nice small company who have been around for years. They won't scratch your wheels and will fit your own tyres properly. Give Paul (The owner) or Justin a call.

Hi everyone, I know a couple of you have suggested I come on so you can hear Fontains side of the story but it is difficult because I’m in danger of making us just look defensive. I can’t comment on all the individual cases, we have after all been specialising in selling Audi for over 12 years now w...

RE: RS4 Replica wheels

Replicas are mostly made to an ET35 offset to fit to common models such as TT and S3. RS4 needs an ET20 offset. A replica wheel will simply not fill the wheel arch fully and you will need to fit spacers. My opinoin is you should stick to original alloys.

I think you will improve the ride comfort by changing to 18" rims. However, it does sound like you may have a problem with the geometry and it's worth getting this checked and re-aligned but make sure you go to a dealer with the correct equipment for setting up 4 wheel alignment on an RS4. I have dr...

RE: Re: RS4 stolen

The Clifford is a good idea but a with a tracking device, at least you know where the car is. Preferably have both! I have checked the description of the thief that stole the RS4 yesterday and he sounds like the same guy as mentioned in other thefts. 5'8"-5'10" tall, well built to chubby with blond ...

RE: RS4 stolen

I have heard of 3 B5 thefts in the last month. The first one was stolen whilst the owner was trying to sell it. A smartly dressed individual went to view the car at the owner’s house. The owner didn't let the prospective buyer drive it but took him for a spin. When they got back, the buyer asked to ...

RS4 stolen

Just wanted to let members know an RS4 that was supplied by us on Friday was stolen from the new owner. The good news is that fortunately it looks like Trackstar has already located its whereabouts. However, this is one of a few we have heard being stolen recently. My advice is to all B5 owners to b...

Perhaps you were refering to Marcus, MD at Fontain? Sells Audi and drives a Z3M I believe.... Not sure of the state of his driveway though. Come on Bobjebb, get with the show! RE: Poll: RS4 Bucket Seats or RS4 Standard Recaro Sports Sea

Buckets because they are the proper RS4 seat. Beautifully designed and with the added benefit of a one click sport tension setting. Ordering normal Recaros instead as fitted to the lessor S4 could affect the cars' residual value.

RE: Help/Spec

Hi Lee, I think you've gone for a good spec. Colour is a personal thing but you can never go wrong with black. The tech pack is an absolute must. The GSM on the dash does'nt look that great but is very practical and you certainly don't want to lose that lovely steering wheel which you would have to ...
