Second what Grizz says. Had same issue on my S4 a year or two ago. If you search you'll find commentary on it. My issue was different tyres front and rear, others have had the same.

May have answered my own question. STA on Audiworld and it looks like this has been done plenty of times in the US as they only ever got the MFSW. Stasis Engineering seem to be the folks. Have emailed them and await a response plus local dealer investigating still (I hope). Will do an update when I ...

Am negotiating around that basis but limited number of B7 RS4's in Oz means not a lot of confidence from the Audi guys that they can definitely make it happen ie they can't promise it will work

Greetings from the Antipodes - help required from the experts I have been offered by local (and only) Audi dealer a B7 RS4 Cabrio with Blue Tooth in arm rest and MFSW or Sedan w/o blue tooth but proper RS4 Steering wheel both in Daytona Grey. I really prefer the RS4 steering wheel however am aiming ...

I had both issues on my B5 S4. On the EGT's - get them replaced. On the ESP - I had same flickering problem - I also had differing tyres front and rear - swapped them to all matching, had the ABS and road speed sensores cleaned (they were very dirty after new brake pads) and the other sensors (yaw a...

Part supplied and fitted had 'D' suffix, longer cable. Boost limiting gone, fault code gone, car alive and well.

It seems the 710C was used on some S4's in lieu of the 710A. To my layman eyes the A and C DV's look very similar (I now have duds of both in the store room somewhere). Audiworld has some commentary on it including the following (no responsibility accepted if all this is wrong!) "... the TT uses a 7...

Just swapped out two 710A's off 2001 B5 RS4 for two new 710N's. Neither 710A would hold vacuum from the nipple - pulled both apart for some fun and each had about 10-15m split in rubber diaphragm

Cheers. I have asked for the longer cabled one - I have been quoted 'D' and 'F'. Will report when done and working (due in a week or so - there is apparently only one part in the country)

EGT Part number - "078 919 529F"

A question from one third (and possibly one half) of the B5 RS4 owners in Western Australia . Can anyone confirm if the above is the correct Audi part number for the Bank 2 EGT sensor ie passenger side on RHD vehicle (I sourced the number from an Audiworld thread). I am getting the 17866 DTC from VA...

Re: RE: RS4 - std airflow & boost readings

Cheers Patrick - I called Minhea on Friday - std RS4 should be in the order of 280 -300 g/s. Stage 1 car should be 340-350 g/s. Nige. Having migrated from slightly modded B5 S4 to B5 RS4 very recently as well as becoming a VAGCOM junkie I'd be keen to see some stock RS4 logs for blocks 003 and 115 ...
