B5 RS4 - fragile or not?

OK I've got to say I love the look of the B5 RS4 always have since I went to Silverstone in 2000/01 and saw people being driven around on hot laps. They look good, have purpose, are safe and can move when required. Now i know forums do tend to pull in alot of people who've had issues with their car ...

996 Turbo to RS4 Avant or RS4 Avant to 996 Turbo?

Anyone gone from one to another, interested in hearing the Pros and Cons of each from those who've owned both.

Thinking of one or the other have still got to test drive.

RS4 Avant obviously has the added practicality, but can't help but thinking the 996 Turbo is the performance bargin at the moment.

Re: Are RS4's becoming common on our roads?

I remember when I bought mine, over two years ago, they were very few and far between. I'd go weeks without seeing another RS4. I liked it. It made the Marque feel that much more special. Recently, I'm seeing them everywhere. I live in Caterham and see serveral driving around the town. I can garant...

B7 RS4 Prices

Prices do seem to be dropping a fair bit at present. Mugello Blue RS4 Avant on 46k miles for £34k. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/605792.htm It's a P1 club car so sure to have been driven enthusiastically but should have be well maintained. Looks good value against the £26k RS4 B5's. And that's as...

RE: New owners robbed at gun point on way home - 3 times!

Three seperate customers had left a dealers and been carjacked they're either very patient carjackers or being tipped off.

Send out a new S3 with an undercover PC, job done.

I'd heard of RS4's having this kind of problem as they're a fair bit quicker and good for hauling loot around but not S3's.
