Re: Wanted B7 RS4
Appreciate the detailed response and good advice. You may be right, but right now there are quite a few unsold examples on the mix of selling platforms. Either they are all bad examples, they are over priced, or the demand for the car isn’t there to meet the supply. Don’t get me wrong, a great examp...

Wanted B7 RS4
Hi All, I’m helping a friend who is in the market for a B7 RS4. Condition is key supported by strong history, more than happy with Top Indies and not just Dealers. Prefers wing backs and flat bottom steering wheel and colour wise quite open, although Daytona would be good. All the usual issues ideal...

Re: My New Daytona Avant
Thanks
Sorry Jules, I was meant to enclose a copy of the link to his website; http://www.exhaustmods.co.uk
He has a very good reputation with BMW owners and I don't see a huge difference between the exhausts.

Regarding the exhaust, have a look at Paul's website that gives more information about the process.

Re: Forge Motorsport Silicone Hoses
Well done Guys. A positive is that these can only be better than the originals that will deteriorate over time (normal for rubber). At £159 they are well priced given the design and materials and I guess cheaper than the OEM equivalent? From a preventative maintenance perspective they are a good opt...

Re: My 900+ spec
Haha Steve, I don't think it's a problem with RWD more a characteristic. I've driven both over the years and enjoyed both. I'm looking forward to test driving an RS6 soon and will post my thoughts in a separate thread, as this great thread is going slightly off topic.

Re: My 900+ spec
I drive an RWD AMG (CLS55) now so hear what you are saying, to be fair it adds to the excitement along with the incredible noise most AMG's make, I currently have the use of an E63 Biturbo and was hoping I'd enjoy it more than I am, it's quite quick but doesn't feel that "special" or that much of a ...

Re: My 900+ spec
Why don't you go to 700/50 see how you feel as its a significant increase then build towards 900 if you want more power? I think my best option is to try one first. If 750bhp ticks the box then it's job done. To go any higher gets really expensive, to a point where it's crossing over into newer car...

Re: My 900+ spec
Thanks for the advice, it's appreciated.
MRC offer an MRC 800 upgrade at £13k. There is no mention of the gearbox needing replacing so guess the power and torque are capped to be safe as mentioned by Ian? Makes spending another £5k a no brainer to go to 950bhp.

Re: My 900+ spec
Thanks Guys. Sounds like if I was to uprate the turbos then for the cost involved going the full hog and 900-950bhp is the way forward. I was hoping there was a cost effective in between solution but it appears not, so the remaining option is 750bhp. My current car is 600bhp / 700lb/ft, so want a st...
