I’m assuming if you ever wanted to go abroad and see what speed you’re going? Lol or are you referring to why were the units set to km when I bought it? For that I’m unsure all I did was change it back to miles on the units setting on the dash.

Yeah this is what I’ve heard also, hence I’m quite alright with the lower torque figure and not launching the car hah, very conscious about it. Even though it’s 700-750nm it’s still plenty. My 635d had the same on a stage 1 and I never got bored of it tbh!

Standard I believe, from what the dealer said about the remap is that it wasn’t meant to be o.t.t and torque figures were meant to be closer to standard whilst increasing the hp to preserve the life on the zf more, guess it was previous owners preference of map specification.

Car was purchased from Audi London, I’ll have to dig the paperwork out at home believe the original purchase documentation is there? 1 previous owner from Audi London I believe and myself.

Not to my knowledge, did previously ask the question to the dealer but was told it was purely due to the digits on the dash being in kmh, soon as I got the car I changed it to mph and will have the next mot recorded as such! But no as far as I’m aware not an import, have had no issues insuring etc (...
