Re: B7 RS4 DNA

Good luck with the sale and the next car you get :) thanks James, it cerrainly should be a keeper but i have had it close to thr...

Re: B7 RS4 DNA

That's superb work mate. Thanks for posting that, I love builds. What kind of cost is involved with such a job then if you don't mind me asking? I've often wondered what a rebuild costs for our cars. So from the comments does that mean the car is all fixed and repaired now, and your are selling it?...

Re: B7 RS4 DNA

Looks like a proper job, on Auto trader you say “brand new” engine, but it’s basically the same engine but rebuilt? thanks bud, yeah had to be done right. Didnt want to go through standing on the side of the M1 in the middle of the night in the rain for a second time ha! yes, not trying to bend the...

Re: B7 RS4 DNA

That's really bad and I feel for you mate. Looking forward to updates on this. It would be great to see what work was done and how it got resolved. thanks, bud, it was a lot to digest but I was at a point where it needed fixing and being annoyed or upset wasn't going to get me closer to a fix. apol...

Re: Exhausting Work

I'm planning the same mod to my car but after hearing cold start, it will be too loud for my estate too. I need to free up my flaps first as they are blanked open and now seized no doubt. If I can't free them then its new exhaust time I think. honestly, every time I start it, I feel myself sink a l...

Exhausting Work

Lets hear your B7 RS4's! I have the flaps open and resonator removed, sound clip below! I may be getting old though as the cold starts in my close sound a bit too much so considering activating the flaps again. throw a video up of yours and just list what you have done! https://share.icloud.com/phot...

Re: Front Bumper Adjustment

there certainly is mate, do a search on here - loads of coverage of it.
Basically need to be sure the bumper is on the adjuster rather than under it then the adjustment screws will do their job of closing that gap off ;)

Re: JamesBaby’s B7 RS4 Avant Daytona & Phantom

Thanks mate. Yeah I’m loving the car now. Really solid and smooth and the DRC is well worth keeping. More updates coming. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Look forward to it mate! I need to change my rear wiper too, despite waving at the cars behind it doesn't really do much to clear the scree...

Re: B7 RS4 DNA

I feel for you man. I look forward to your update on how you resolved it and what was required. Thank you bud! It wasn't easy to digest as the following pictures will confirm. So the head on bank b was pulled off and instantly there was a pretty seismic gulp! 4e841dd4-f9ef-4a78-a40c-bdf0dc99c3fa.jp...

Re: B7 RS4 DNA

Awe no !! How on earth did that happen? Were you hooning it at the time or just cruising along? honestly put it down to bad luck pal, was cruising at 70 on cruise control for a calm drive back down to Essex then all of a sudden total loss of power. Happened just after J11 on the M1, which hasn't go...

Re: JamesBaby’s B7 RS4 Avant Daytona & Phantom

Simply amazing James! I too came back to the B7 RS4, they're a perfect all rounder! The DRC rebuild is looking good, especially with the new pipes and junctions! I decided to stick with DRC on mine too, some for the originality of the thing and mostly the comfort - I have a e92 mSport as a second ca...

Being back behind the flat bottom wheel of the B7 RS4 was nothing short of a dream. There was a lot of this...
