Re: 2020 UK RS4 with Dynamic Steering
Interesting idea! It's rare that I notice DS doing its thing. Maybe it's just that good, I don't know. Anyway, I don't have VCDS though unfortunately. I can look into it this weekend - I do have an OBDeleven if that can produce anything useful for you? If you have OBDEleven, one thing you could to ...

Re: 2020 UK RS4 with Dynamic Steering
I have been thinking of retrofitting DS on mine. Costly, but am always looking for a project to work on. Just a long shot, but you wouldn’t happen to have VCDS that you could read out the long coding of your car would you?

2020 UK RS4 with Dynamic Steering
Just wondering if anyone here from the UK with a 2020 RS4 that has Dynamic Steering. Mines a UK RS4 without Dynamic Steering, but I’d like to ask some questions about your car.

Re: Rs4 b9 issue
The transmission of the RS4 B9 is a ZF 8HP that is also used in other makes of car. I am not sure what makes it so different when used in the RS4 that would make the lifetime of clutches severely reduced compared to other brands that would necessitate momentary decoupling of the gearbox.

Re: Rs4 b9 issue
Hi Guys! I was just at ABT in Kempten for another issue with my 21 RS4. I mentioned the issue you guys are discussing and the KFZ Meister immediately knew about it. He said that they managed to fix it on the demonstration models in 2018 but it reduced the life of the clutch significantly. Essential...

Re: Ohlins Road & Track on my 2020 RS4
I started out with 100/120 then went on to 80/100 (with high preload), then up to recommended 120/140. 120/140 is the best for the Ohlins in my opinion because the way Ohlins designed the front shock, there is very little travel of the piston before the bump stops come into play. They followed the o...

Re: Brakes - Options
I’ve been running Redstuff on the RS4 for a few months now. I always use Redstuff on all my cars before I had the RS4. Redstuff never did squeal on my previous cars, but it does on the RS4 unfortunately. I like that I have to press harder on the pedal for the Redstuff than original pads, which I fin...

Please let us know how it performs. I have this sitting in a box for almost 6 months now, and haven’t been motivated enough to install it yet!

Did you run their recommended 120N front and 140N rear springs?

Re: 2018 TTRS to B9 RS4 - ride
I had a B8 S5 Sportback (pretty much an S4) for ten years prior to my B9 RS4 and I can tell you with 100% certainty that the B9 RS4 without DRC is much much harder than the B8 S5. So I think the DRC on the B9 RS4 must be a much more comfortable ride than without DRC. Pretty pointless statement and ...
