I had the Evo 3’s , as during Covid I couldn’t get the PS4s locally. but they started cracking on the shoulders and around the tread, almost like the heat cycles were killing the rubber.
I now run PS4s and have never had the issue again.

If it is persisting... I have an alternative solution. Buy a tin of Dettol "All in one" spray. Remove pollen filter. Run vehicle. Set fan to max fan & cool with air con on, but no re-circ. Jumped in and found what I hope will be my wagon of choice for a good while.
I am lucky to be mechanically minded and skilled and as such, I do like tweaking my vehicles.
