Re: Spare wheels for my wagon

I also have new TPMS and the Dutch AA. I ended up with a fifth OZ rim as Eurostar damaged one. Takes up so much space though. For now this is just to have the car sat on wheel whie I have two of the five rims sprayed. I did wonder about having a space saver in the back if I go on a trip. Just to get...

Re: Spare wheels for my wagon

I've done some digging on space savers here. Can't find much more than this thread. I need to take a wheel off my car and leave it in the open/public/homeless guy hangout for a few weeks. I don't fancy leaving it on a jack out there. Anyone think of a better option, or reason why I shouldn't but thi...

Re: Audi Tradition Sale FYI

i wish i hadn't seen this morning coffee, reading the usual internet stuff, buys NOS HVAC controls for a car that's off the road for a year i'm thinking in ten years the RS2 effect may have happened and i hate the fact someone once dented my controls. i'll add it to the 'one-day' collection of parts...

Re: been sitting for 9 months...

Now that the sun is with us it's time for me to get the wagon back on the road. She is looking really grim as she's sat for a over a year at this point. I've rolled it and kept the tyre pressure up most of the time. Hopefully the tyres are usable. I'll pull the fuse as above. Anything else I should ...

Re: been sitting for 9 months...

Thanks as always for your help Steve & Shop.
I'm happy to hear its an easier fix that I thought.

Anything else I should be thinking about if it's not moved for 9 months?

I'll sort the tax and take it for a long cruise to see what I need to fix.

Re: Car mats with RS6 logo.

I also did a good search a few years back a ended up nowhere. Even for LHD.
Ended up with some good condition, OEM, molded, no-logo C5 S6 mats.
They're perfect for me.
Might be worth a search for those in RHD

been sitting for 9 months...

Hello all, I'm pleased to say, after a shaky few months, or year, everthing has got back and track and worked out better than I had hoped. Got a new job with good people, back in the good-life in Holland, but now working in Amsterdam. Much happier here after my little Swiss experiment. Just now with...

Re: new owner, not the best start with rs6

Great thread and build. There are many things here I'd like to get onto my car one day.
I really like those A8 9-spoke alloys. Gives it strong OEM look and a muted style like the rest of the car.
Are all the rims 20"?

RS6+ Black Trim colour code

I've decided that I go from a black trim front end and spray the grills when i fit the WE fog-delete grills. while leaving the mirrors, rails, and rear silver. (i'll source some second hand parts to keep the original original.) something like the Sportec car: image (2).png https://www.rs6.com/showth...
