Looks nice It was lovely, such a great car. The build quality felt fantastic, seats were great, the power and performance was addictive and the avant just looked right. I had it for 2 years and luckily sold it just before the covid19 shut down. I wonder why this model doesn't get the same cult stat...

Just for info, I managed to buy OE quality Zimmerman front discs (365mm) for £147 each side. I checked lots of places (GSF/ECP/online) before ordering and these were the best I could find Q-Parts24 GmbH & Co. KG on ebat Germany, but they can be ordered on the UK site too. They arrived about 5-7 days...

£150 each side for the fronts, on a german website. i posted it in the general section a couple of days ago, oe quality zimmerman too.

This model has obviously not seen the crazy pricing found on the early RS4, URS6, S2, and crazy money RS2 models. Personal opinion is they will go up in a couple of years as someone else has stated something like "when the rough ones have been parted out" Mines a high mile 150k example that I was af...

I will be having a front spring replaced on a 2003 RS6, which has had the DRC replaced with a H&R kit. Is this a fairly straight forward job to do?

The car already has the HR kit installed, so its a like for like replacement spring.

Does it involve removing the front pads/discs?

Is this proven guys? That the ECU changes how the car runs on the lower RON fuel? Do most of you with the C5 RS6 use the 99 RON? I'm going to start using mine as a daily driver over winter, it does 20mpg on a run on the standard fuel and drives fantastic. I do sometimes use the Lucas fuel lubricant ...
