Re: Exhaust flexi replacement
So iirc the flexi is part of the downpipe, which would align with what you've said above. This downpipe can be in 3 different formats. 1) OEM with OEM cats, 2) aftermarket downpipe with sports cats or 3) aftermarket downpipe with decats. I have ran both 2 and 3, and would recommend 2 for various rea...

Re: B7 RS4 Lower Door Blade, Front Right (8E0853960)
I’ve paid for one to be developed. Reverse scanning of the passenger side to make a CAD drawing to then have a mould made. Back mounting part will be laser cut. Mid June I should be providing my car to test fit the part. I’ll then own the mould and can order them to sell. I've been saying someone s...

Re: Valved Exhaust Options
The resonators play an important part in keeping a decent exhaust note. Believe it or not, the HMS system is resonated. Resonated, yet sharper, louder and more violent than my non-resonated Milltek. They help the exhaust sound more clean and crisp. The Milltek always sounded a bit raspy and farty t...

Re: Valved Exhaust Options
I swapped my Milltek out for a HMS which is exactly the sound you are describing. High pitched flat plane V8 sound. Absolutely screams and, although I'm now bias, is by far the best sounding exhaust I have ever heard on an RS4. The Capristo sounds ok but the price is crazy, diameter is no wider tha...

Re: Valved Exhaust Options
What are the two pipes pointing down out of interest?
Is that an original Nogaro?!?! Amazing if so, I thought there was only 1 or 2 made in that colour. Sorry to take the thread off topic but would love to see more pics.

Have you seen this one? https://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=145387 Seemed a nice enthusiast example and ticks a lot of your boxes. Assume it's still for sale as the seller hasn't said otherwise. DRC is a ticking time bomb unless you are willing to constantly repair it. 90% of coilovers are ...

Re: Recall
Hi Has anyone had audi tell them that if the car has been mapped they can not carry out the airbag recall on the car. As just spoke to audi and was told if the car has been mapped they cannot carry out the work. Thanks That is hilarious. What has that got to do with replacing an airbag  And Au...

Re: Latest views on Brake Pad options
Any updates on how the Endless pads are performing? Looking at upgrading front discs to Brembos in new year and need new front and rear pads. Getting conflicting things on websites with the Ferodo DS2500 saying that the rears (FCP1655H) don't fit the B7/8EC saloon but I see a few guys here have sai...

Re: Holding Speed
Are you sure that's not just the MRC map? I also have a Stage 2 mapped car and MRC make the throttle response in S mode incredibly sensitive. I guess a question is, does it do the same thing when not in Sport mode? If it does then ignore my theory. Welcome to the forum. What colour/spec did you go f...
