I got after market black ones and just changed the metal ring off on the back of the grey ones and put them on the black ones and they fit perfect !

If your replacements have the same cover, it might be worth a thin smear of black sealant at the base around the strut body to stop rain water seeping in again and doing the same with your replacement struts. Trouble is you need a base line on the dyno when the car was in good condition and everything was runing as it should be. If you don't have a base line then your not going to know if the power is down or by how much as most of our car do not produce the power that Audi claims !! Sent from my SM-G920...
